Mr. D’Apuzzo received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and his juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida.
During his professional career, Mr. D’Apuzzo worked for the United States Attorney’s Office, defending claims brought against the United States Federal Government. Mr. D’Apuzzo then practiced in civil private practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of civil litigation matters at the law firm of Grumer & Macaluso, P.A. located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Immediately prior to opening his own firm, he worked for the prestigious transactional and litigation firm Shevlin & Atkins, Attorneys at Law in the Bay Harbor Islands, located just blocks away from the renouned and luxurious Bal Harbour Shoppes.
Currently, Mr. D’Apuzzo represents clients with needs including business law; complex commercial litigation; appeals; wills, trust, estates, and general probate; business and personal fraud; collections; landlord-tenant disputes; lease and contract negotiation; real estate; asset and liability protection; construction and product defects, foreclosure defense; commercial and personal evictions; and intellectual property.
Due to his vast experience in these fields, Attorney Theodore D’Apuzzo is better able to understand the needs of his clients, balancing the specific client goals, risks, and costs before a plan is devised and implemented.
